Our Business

Why our company was born?  The creator seeing the increasing instances of skin problems and issues with product sensitivity, she began searching for new options. She discovered that most commercially retail and high end made products are nothing more than synthetic detergents, which are irritants and have been determined to be the root cause of many sensitivity issues. Some people like herself would break out and itch after using the usual products. The owner spent many years growing her own herbs, trying new products and spent most of her life in direct sales with large well know companies. Keeping this and the limited availability of products lacking synthetic detergents in mind, she took a leap of faith. She left her job and focused on taking her knowledge and experience to a new level. That Girl's Bath & Body was started in 2007 after Jewelry by Deby 2005.

Who We Are

That Girl's Bath & Body's Story: 
The founder's research was aimed at providing products gentle enough to use on even her own ultra-sensitive skin. Which led her to research natural products, organic ingredients, Shea butter, Aloe, borage oil and other healing essential oils. She began researching ingredients, viewing products and using them at home for her own use and shared them as gifts with friends, family and clients. With continuous positive feedback and encouragement from family and friends That Girl's Bath & Body was born. Others started to notice a difference in her own complexion. Word of mouth has spread and many people with skin problems, or others who are just health conscience, are looking for a solution.

Our jewelry designs are made by hand in the USA by our artist. She has had many years experience in art, jewelry, clay work, wire work, beading, painting, and other craft designs. Her inspirations for her jewelry pieces come from passion of designing, nature, and her love of Native American heritage.

How the designer started making jewelry: "I started making jewelry as a way to continue giving gifts. The hobby began with making beaded jewelry, then for my family members. Soon after, friends inquired about having jewelry made for them or as gifts for loved ones. The more I made, the more skills I acquired. I started learning the wire wrap technique using sterling and gold-filled. I love making jewelry and you can be sure that each piece I create will have a little of that love in it.

I also use semiprecious gemstones, mother of pearl, hand painted shells, and swarovski crystals. I love all things Art Deco, Nouveau, Retro and Classic. I am a self taught artist with a great understanding of Native American jewelry design and classic to unique arrangement's.

All my jewelry is handcrafted and I carefully select each piece. I tend to buy my pieces from small indie local shops in the city of Richmond and Williamsburg. I am opened minded, passionate and enthusiastic".

About the Editor:  It all started with her love of beauty products, writing and give consumers product reviews they could relate to. I am the "girl" behind That Girl's Beauty Blog! A Beauty blog written from the point of view of a typical consumer. This beauty blog focuses on beauty news, tips and product reviews.

She noticed that many beauty blog only reviewed products or just well know name brands and give aways.  I wanted a beauty blog with everything about style beauty and fashion. Even woman issues and hard to find info, ex> makeup tips for dark or very fair women.I wanted our blog to be practical and all I have to read. As one of the first beauty bloggers, she chose this social media platform as a means of vastly expanding her reach while driving sales to her affiliates and the owners home business.
